EL COTILLO is a beautiful fishing village on the north west coast of Fuerteventura. The village boasts some of the best seafood restaurants on the island, has the best sunsets and is a haven for artists and sun-lovers. Naturists / nudists love this laid back getaway with its countless coves, shallow water lagoons, beautiful scenery and most of all peace and quiet.
El Cotillo village is divided into two parts, on the left is the wild beach where the surfers and windsurfers play. On the right are the quiet lagoons and sandy coves which is ideal for families with children who can play in the warm shallow water. El Cotillo benefits from all year round sunshine with few cloudy days and very little rainfall.
Maravilla stands on the beach in El Cotillo. The location is superb. However, the standard of accommodation is basic. Facilities include communal pool.(ss)
El Cotillo is small and rustic with comparatively few tourist amenities (although there are thirteen restaurants and two well stocked supermarkets).
The chief attraction is the wonderful beaches. There are a series of sandy bays to the north of the village and the further towards the lighthouse you go, the quieter it gets!
To the south, you will find further long stretches of sand backed cliffs. This is a quiet naturist friendly location and will appeal to those who simply want to “crash-out, though it may be too isolated for some.
Maravilla accommodation stands on the beach (about half a mile from the village). Facilities include a small swimming pool offering sheltered sunbathing on windy days and a purpose built barbecue on the beach.
TYPE A BEACH APARTMENT
These super apartments all front onto the sea. The ground floor incorporates a lounge, modern kitchen facilities, dining area and separate bedroom. The kitchen has two electric rings and a fridge. The bathroom has a bath with shower, hand washbasin, toilet and bidet. There is also a large terrace and a private garden from which steps lead directly onto the beach. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and small balcony (overlooking the sea) and the other with two single beds. Well equipped with electric kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster and radio/CD player.
TYPE B APARTMENT
Also with a sea (side) view. The ground floor incorporates a lounge, modern kitchen facilities, dining area and separate bathroom. The kitchen has two electric rings and fridge. The bathroom has a bath with shower, hand washbasin, toilet and bidet. On the first floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and an extra bathroom (hand washbasin, toilet and bidet) and the other with two single beds. Well equipped with electric kettle, filter coffee maker, toaster and radio.

One room (30 sq mtrs – larger than the average studio) with twin beds, settee and cooking area (two gas rings, kettle, filter coffee maker and fridge). Separate WC, shower and hand washbasin. Some have a terrace with sea-view, others overlook the small swimming pool.
TYPE D APARTMENT (ONE FLOOR)
Overlooking the swimming pool. Lounge/modern kitchen facilities/dining area. Separate bathroom. The kitchen has two electric rings and a fridge. The bathroom has a shower, hand washbasin and toilet. One bedroom with double bed; the other has two singles. Equipped with electric kettle, filter coffee maker and radio/cassette player.
Cleaning several times per week – Towels changed three times per week, Bed linen changed weekly
