Casa Gwarder is set in the foothills in the small hamlet of Los Risquetes, some 5km from the town of Villa Verde making it the perfect choice for those seeking tranquillity and privacy in a quiet setting.
The property boasts fantastic panoramic views across dramatic red – brown volcanic landscape to the white sand dunes of the national park and then across the sea to the island of Los Lobos and Lanzarote beyond. The central courtyard and adjoining swimming pool patio at the rear of the property look towards the stunning mountain slopes.

Bedroom 1

Bedroom 3
Has twin beds, a second door into the family bathroom and the utility room with a washing machine. (Please note that Bedroom 3, the family bathroom and the utility room are accessed through Bedroom 1 – useful for parents who can rest assured that children in bedroom 3 are secure and cannot wander off to the pool area unattended.)
The central courtyard has a patio table, chairs and sun canopy together with a stone barbecue. Large double barn-style doors lead you out to the pool patio with a two-level solar heated pool. The circular upper pool is perfect for children to paddle and adults to sit around in. The water from this pool cascades down into the main figure-8 shaped pool (overall dimensions 8m x 4m). The spacious patio is furnished with sun lounger’s and surrounded by private gardens where guests can take in views of the mountains to the south and sand dunes with Lanzarote in the distance to the north.
As in most parts of Fuerteventura power and water supply do fail from time to time, Casa Gwarder is on mains water with a backup storage tank and water pump, and solar panels provide the electricity to the whole property. The swimming pool is also heated from the sun via solar water panels.
