The Naked Lifestyle

The Naked Lifestyle
Posted by on May 17, 2011

There are many lifestyles being bandied around at the moment. Just what does “The Naked Lifestyle” mean? It must mean lots of different things to different people.

A couple in the lifestyle could mean they are swingers but Naked Lifestyle? Well that’s something completely different. A nudist or naturist could be in a “Naturist or Naked Lifestyle” whereby they try to live as comfortable as possible without clothes. Of course not many people can be nude 100% of the time. For most Europeans it can get a bit too cold to be naked all the time. What if you are working? You can’t go to work nude unless you are either working in a nudist resort or you are your own boss working from home. I used to write a column for the nudist magazine ”Naturist Life” under the title “The Naked Travel Agent” whereby I could be naked at my desk typing away but really it would be nicer having a job on the outside catching the rays.

If say you live in a hot country being nude all the time could have a serious effect on your skin eg fro skin cancer or your skin could become like leather. Even black people can get sunburnt so we all have to be careful of the suns powerful rays.

I know of people living “The Naked Lifestyle” in places like Charco del Palo on Lanzarote. It’s a naked village where people can wander the streets naked and it just be a normal activity. In Brazil the Colina do Sol is a fully working naturist commune with shops and properties where nudity is the norm. Residents say it is Paradise on Earth. Again Brazil can be very hot so sensible precautions need be taken.

Over in France the “ Naked City” Cap d Agde” could be described as the “Naked Lifestyle” where you can be nude 24 hours a day, shopping naked, going into the bank or butchers  naked mean seem a bit weird but thousands do it every summer. Once instead the gates of the naked city you see people riding bikes, swimming even windsurfing naked. Its most unusual to see someone in the daytime with clothes on.

For year round nudity Europe loses out due to the weather but the Canary Islands and Caribbean are year round places to enjoy “The Naked Life Style”
